Milan is preparing to host the 41st edition of the world's most important trade fair dedicated to catering and hospitality: bread, pizza, coffee, pasta and ice cream in a single appointment. The event also proposes, and above all, the services behind the ho.re.ca and hotellerie sector, coffee machines, bar equipment and solutions, furnishings and technology.
The aim of the fair is always to provide professionals from outside the home with all the elements necessary to create successful catering activities. In a single biennial appointment they can find information, solutions and products starting from the raw materials and semi-finished products to the machinery and equipment, from design and furnishing to the taste served at the table. All managed in three vertical and easily visitable macro areas: Professional Catering, Bar - Coffee Machines and Vending, Furniture - Technology and Table.
This 41st edition of HostMilano, which will open the curtain from 18 to 22 October, promises to be truly rich in ingredients.
Already at the beginning of the summer the adhesions to exhibit had reached 1,912 companies, marking an increase of 8% compared to 2017. Of these 1,127 are Italian companies. The 785 foreign companies are representing 54 countries. Albania, Colombia, Iran, Lebanon, Latvia and Argentina are new nations entering the fair. The international character of HostMilano is certainly validated over two years in two years.
The most appreciated side of the fair, on the part of visitors, remains in any case the showcase of flavors and recipes, which tells of tastes from around the world. In fact, the fair includes events, show-cooking, championships and cooking exhibitions, where the traditions of the various countries are told and new food trends are projected. There will be 500 events organized for this edition of HostMilano and there will be starred chefs from all over the world, experts and teachers, who will attend the round tables and the challenges on the calendar.
Host Award 2019 awarded 56 companies, including exhibitors, with Smart Label, because they proposed innovative solutions, closer to the needs of customers and capable of leaving a positive technological sign in the evolution of ho.re.ca. and the retail sector. Among the proposals presented there is a strong use of technology and several articles, addressed to artisan producers and small businesses, are connected to digital devices and involve the use of tablets or smartphones to manage more complex functions, request remote assistance, check data.
Just a few days away, Milan is preparing to become the professional capital of hospitality for 5 days, with everything needed for the ho.re.ca, food, retail, GDO, foodservice and hotellerie sectors.
