MADE EXPO 2019: over 90,000 visitors

MADE expo looks at the future of construction with positivity and involves more than 90,000 visitors

The ninth edition of MADE expo, the most important Italian event dedicated to architecture and construction, ended a few days ago.

On display, the approximately 900 exhibitors brought the best selection of construction materials, solutions and systems to design, services and machinery for the construction site, construction, all sectors of the supply chain including doors and windows, casing systems, the outdoor, the finishes and the interiors.

There were more than 90,000 registered presences. Visitors were able to access the fair in a path built on 4 theme halls, divided into 8 pavilions on 47,500 square meters of exhibition area.

The event seems to have sensitized the whole chain to approach new buildings by accepting a profound change, towards innovation, towards greater safety, sustainability and the use of technology in favor of a more comfortable life.

At the center of all the speeches, events, conferences and the same exhibition, a theme that affects all "the quality of living".

Quality is associated with well-being and therefore it becomes important to take full advantage of sunlight, contact with the outside, in homes and buildings. For this reason, in the area dedicated to doors and windows, new window systems have been proposed, which enlarge the windows, up to 15% more, and which simplify the openings and closures, leaving maximum space for the natural light that filters from the outside. Ample space has been given to domotics to make the automation of doors and windows better and put at the center the feelings of the people who live in the rooms with greater comfort.

In this edition of MADE expo we talked a lot about BIM, that is the Information Model for Building (Building Information Modeling), the process that takes care of and preserves all the fundamental steps for setting up a building, for the whole its life cycle, from construction to disused. ASSOBIM has contributed, through its presence at the fair, to spreading this technological and constructive culture.
