Health and safety in the first place, even in work

The Italian event dedicated to health and safety in the workplace is back in Bologna. Ambiente Lavoro will go to open the curtain from 15 to 17 October. The event has been a reference point for the sector for over 20 years.

Within the October appointment it is possible to deepen one's knowledge on products and solutions for safety, to understand how to apply the rules that govern safety laws.

Unfortunately there is still need to talk about these topics, not only to raise awareness in this regard. The numbers confirm this, in fact, according to Italian data released by INAIL, between January and March of this year 212 people died in the workplace, in May 2019 there were 504. The numbers are in line with those of 2018 and therefore not tend to fall. It is certainly necessary to continue talking about it, to offer clarifications and solutions and to involve professional operators so that they are best structured to guarantee more safety in their activities.

The last edition of Ambiente e Lavoro worked very well on training, reaching 600 hours of lessons and involving 626 speakers.

The update and the application will be the cornerstones of this new edition of the fair, in which we will try to shed light on those aspects that employers and workers often ignore, or what are the strategies to put in place to develop a greater awareness of the respective risks. There will also be talk of a workplace as a place of well-being in which to better enjoy daily activities. We will present ideas and concrete solutions to avoid accidents (increased in 2019 by 2,900 cases compared to the first quarter of 2018, according to INAIL registrations) and invalidating occupational diseases.

The "Field Prove" within Ambiente Lavoro will offer visitors simulations of risk and how to manage or prevent them.
