IMA acquires the majority of OMAS Tecnosistemi

The acquisition to strengthen its presence in the cosmetic packaging sector

IMA has purchased the majority of the shares of OMAS Tecnosistemi, held by Savino Giudici. OMAS, specialized in the design and creation of customized solutions with high technological content for the packaging of cosmetic, make up and personal care products, allows IMA to strengthen its presence in the cosmetics sector.

Founded in 1973 by Luigi Giudici under the name OMG, the company entered the market as a contract manufacturer of dosing systems for automatic filling machines. With the change of management in 1987 and the entry of Savino Giudici, the company quickly established itself as a leader in the design and creation of customized solutions with a high technological profile. Based in Cerro Maggiore, near Milan, the company produces a wide range of machinery for fully automatic filling and capping lines, not only for the cosmetics sector but also for the pharmaceutical sector.

The meeting with IMA is the convergence between two complementary companies; the wide range of technologies designed by OMAS satisfy the needs of a large part of the production cycle - from product preparation to cleaning, from orientation and handling of bottles and caps, to filling, from capping to labeling - while the solutions created by IMA ensure the best management of all secondary packaging up to the pallet. Combining the expertise of both companies aims to create a "one-stop partner" for the industry, promising to bring innovation and added value to customers.

The signing of the agreement between IMA and OMAS Tecnosistemi is not only the result of a shared vision for the future of the cosmetics sector, but also the promise of a collaboration that will officially kick off during the Cosmopack fair, starting on March 21st in Bologna, under the common slogan "Let's care together", for a joint commitment to innovation and customer care.
