Scaglia INDEVA invests in SELETTRA as an Innovation Hub for Mobile Robotics

In pursuance of its global expansion project, Scaglia INDEVA invests in SELETTRA signs an agreement to acquire a majority stake

Scaglia INDEVA SpA, an Italian company, leader in the production and sale of industrial
manipulators, cobots, AGVs and Lean modular systems, part of the Scaglia Group, and SELETTRA Automação e Robótica Ltda, a leading Brazilian company in the production and sale of AGVs and mobile robotics, have signed an agreement under which Scaglia INDEVA SpA will acquire a majority stake in Selettra Automação e Robótica Ltda. The closing of the transaction is expected before the end of 2022.

Significant synergies will result from this agreement in research and development and in the more effective use of sales networks, thanks also to the strong complementarity of product ranges.

SELETTRA Automação e Robótica Ltda, which will be renamed Indeva Selettra Mobile Robotics Ltda, will be an important center for the entire INDEVA group for research and development in mobile robotics and will provide a solid base for development in the Brazilian market. Indeva Selettra Mobile Robotics’ AGVs and mobile robots will complement INDEVA’s existing product range and will be distributed throughout INDEVA’s network of subsidiaries and distributors.

The entire team, as well as the current shareholders of SELETTRA Automação e Robótica Ltda, who will retain a minority stake in the new company, will continue in their current
operational positions, ensuring management continuity in what has been a successful enterprise to date. The continuity of relations with customers and suppliers is guaranteed, and they will benefit from the development of current activities that the new company will achieve as a result of belonging to a major industrial group.

Associati, GM Venture, Studio Lorenzetti Marques and Donner&Prosper.
