From 2 to 4 October 2019, the consolidated appointment with LINEAPELLE is back in Milan, a fair that highlights the leather goods, footwear, accessories, luxury and design sectors in the automotive sector and beyond.

The announcement comes from Busto Arsizio, at the Cotton Textile and Clothing Center (CENTROCOT), where the Education Committee of Sistema Moda Italia (SMI) stated that in the Italian fashion sector (clothing, footwear, textiles, luxury and design) they lack today figures prepared for the next technological challenges in favor of growth and maintenance of Made in Italy success.

The Italian textile sector has always been a hard core of the country's turnover, despite cyclical crises and not least, the fight against counterfeiting coming from foreign markets. And yet, there are Italian companies that have kept their feet steady and have continued to develop, stimulating research and production, structuring themselves, investing and today have become the firm leaders of the Italian textile system. Specifically, in order to continue to develop the Made in Italy in the best possible way, in the textile, clothing, footwear, leather and accessories fields, people are looking for figures who know the materials, textures and their applications well, and who are prepared for the use of technology, the application of integrated processes and the management of human resources. At the moment it seems, according to the data proposed in Busto Arsizio, that the research is open to 50,000 new employees to be included in the workforce by 2022.

This means that during the upcoming upcoming edition of LINEAPELLE number 97, we will certainly find increasingly innovative proposals, with greater attention to eco-sustainable choices, the integration of technologies and robotics, the selection of more natural raw materials and processes for the processing of garments and accessories.
