Lineapelle 2019: over 20.000 presences and an increasingly international profile

LINEAPELLE: inspirations from 114 countries

On February 22nd the main Italian edition of LINEAPELLE ended.

The event, as expected, confirmed the international nature of this fair, which dictates fashion trends for the leather goods sector, for bags, accessories, footwear, the luxury market and the automotive sector.

During the three days of the kermesse, 1,255 companies, coming from 49 countries, presented their proposals at the Milan exhibition center in RHO. The exhibitors' membership increased by + 1% compared to the previous edition, that of September 2018. Among the interesting data is the origin of the visitors, who arrived from 114 countries. Among these, Russian presences stand out, 29% more than in the past. The other areas of origin that have seen increases in attendance, compared to the past editions, have been Portugal, the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, India, China, Japan.

In the Trend Area, among the stands, on the catwalk and in the heart of the fair, all the new proposals for summer 2020 are the center of attention. The research aims to confirm a co-natural fashion theme, ie where the lines of distance between man and machine merge and resume, in a single concept of innovation and style. Naturalness and unpredictability are the bases for the new fashion ideas that will invade the relative market segments.

As always LINEAPELLE does not stop at this event, but is already preparing for the next international tour, to bring new contacts and buyers closer. In the summer the London stops are scheduled for Tuesday 9 July, and in New York, for Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 July. The Italian edition will open its doors on October 2nd and will be the turn of the fashion proposals for the 2020-2021 autumn winter season.
